Mission Statement
To proclaim Bible Truth in Pentecostal Power bringing spiritual and temporal ministries to the total man and thus prepare him for a new life in Jesus Christ and life after death.

The vision of Faith Temple is multifaceted.  It includes a Children’s Church, a Sunday Nursery, a well-organized Christian Education Unit, a library as well as Radio and Television broadcasts.  In addition to the spiritual focus, the church embraces a strong desire to facilitate skills training, day care, computer training and provide meaningful opportunities for all prospects.

The church was founded in 1976 by the late Iris Gavin, a missionary of the Jamaica Pentecostal Church of God (Trinity), a branch of the Pentecostal Church of God in the United States of America. The church actually started at 26 Parry Road through the ministry of a Sunday School started by missionary Iris Gavin and became a branch of the Jamaica Pentecostal Church of God (Trinity).

With assistance from the late Reverend Rose Fuller and the brethren of the Bethel Temple Pentecostal Church of God (Trinity), the work gathered momentum and grew.  Additional help came from vibrant students of the Caribbean Pentecostal Bible College who conducted crusade meetings and personal evangelism.

The congregation grew and the existing property, 24 Parry Road was purchased to erect a new building to house the growing congregation.  The ministries of the church extended to Portmore, Saint Catherine, where another church – Hope Temple Pentecostal - started and is greatly impacting the Kingdom of God.

Reverend Rose Fuller pastored the work at Parry Road until 1987 when she resigned.

Pastor Orett Samuels, a graduate of Caribbean Pentecostal College, took up the reins and carried on the work.

In 1996 ground was broken to start a new building which now houses the present congregation. It took major sacrificial endeavors, faith, prayers and hard work to transform the building from what was known as the “Old Ark”- a derelict building - to a now appreciable place of worship.  The structure is not yet fully completed but plans are in progress to accomplish this for opening and dedication in the near future.

Faith Temple is currently seeking faith partners to assist in realizing its vision.

The property beside the church is currently up for sale.

The pastor and brethren believe that the Lord would have them acquire this property to carry out the expansion of the ministries of the church.  There are several exiting buildings on the property which would provide us with the immediate facilities to realize some of the programs envisioned.

The existing church building remains to be ceiled, fitted with windows and dressing of unfinished walls.

Faith Temple solicits and welcomes your prayerful and financial support.
